The images and texts were developed collaboratively by He Fa and AI. The first-person voice belongs to an experiment in character; costume, posture and props are used to develop creative arguments, not as quotations from or summaries of the thought of the figures referenced.

A white glove-shaped shell holds me up as an enormous palm. Five rounded fingers extend upwards, with my face set into the highest. My two actual hands remain beside the body, and thin black legs show beneath the palm’s base. From afar it looks as though someone lifts me. Look closer and there is no other lifter: the large hand is the shape I wear.

I borrow a gesture’s force without yet choosing whether it means permission, refusal or a request for attention. Blankness is not an absence of position; it is first an unassigned surface. If onlookers interpret five conspicuous fingers as a complete declaration, the character bears a sentence he has not spoken before he even moves.

The large palm makes me seem supported while making the small hands hard to see. This is one danger of support. Resources, platforms and help can genuinely raise someone while narrowing their room to adjust direction. I cannot call every relationship a constraint, but standing more conspicuously cannot excuse ignoring who arranged the outline.

The image shows no outside force, so I should not invent an unseen manipulator. That absence lets me leave the question with the structure: changing the gesture would require dismantling which part, whose agreement, and could the face remain? Good support does more than lift its object. It lets that object ask, once lifted, for a change in how it is supported.

White fingers remain rounded and spread; little hands hang quietly beside them. I will first leave speech to those less conspicuous hands, allowing them to decide the next actual action.
