A continuous white background leaves no visible ground, support or clear spatial boundary. Hair, arms and bent legs indicate different directions of movement; changes in posture distinguish one photograph from the next. Placed beside one another, the photographs allow one arrested gesture to be compared with another. They offer moments of movement, but the portfolio does not number them as successive steps. The title page dates the light-box work to September–October 2011 and records dimensions of 400 × 520 mm. All six photographs are presented here as separate images. ## Works & details Illusion, 2011.
