One gathers food, people and a room around a dining table. Another retains the purple light of an interior. The remaining images turn to a snowy courtyard and a room containing a person. Displaced edges, cuts and repetitions remain visible throughout. No single central object organizes all of these scenes. Tables, walls, floors and people acquire different orientations through the assembled photographs. The images retain recognizable things while rearranging their usual spatial relationships. The portfolio dates the light-box work to September 2009, records dimensions of 512 × 512 mm, and places all four images under the title Gathering. ## Works & details Gathering, 2009.
