Testimony is never pure
Once addressed to spectators and camera, confession is shaped by memory, self-protection, role expectation and public judgment.

Looking, judgment and the allocation of positions in intimacy
Failure, hesitation, accusation and self-defence all enter the event: who may accuse, who must explain and who cannot leave?
The project layered reality-show logic, documentary, live filming and participation. Audience responses were collected, amplified and returned to the event as part of the performers’ actions.
The work focuses on positions of looking within a relation: how intimacy becomes testimony, how emotion enters public judgment, and how people perform themselves again under collective observation.
PROJECT NOTES
Love Theatre / Accusing the Love Centrists brings reality format, documentary, live filming and audience response into one event. Participants’ statements are watched, discussed and returned to their subsequent actions.
Once addressed to spectators and camera, confession is shaped by memory, self-protection, role expectation and public judgment.
Audience responses are gathered and returned to the event, directly changing what participants do next.
Every statement is shaped by memory, self-protection, role expectation and audience judgment. The work keeps those shifts inside the event.
WORKING PROCESS
Let participants describe the relation from their own positions.
The camera keeps running in the room, and participants remain aware of its presence.
Turn spectator judgment into a condition for the next action.
Allow the relation to leave the theatre unfinished.
