The shade widens across the top and tapers downward into a fan-like inverted cone. Outward-curling wavy pleats converge near the bottom. Fine surface lines follow the folds, while irregular rises and notches shape the perimeter, creating a sharply scalloped boundary between the warm yellow luminous body and the black background.
