Audience choices enter a debate about love; He Fa responds through a signed text.

This P4U production explores romantic desire, rational restraint and choices within relationships. Its public introduction gives contrasting positions to different characters and makes audience choices part of the story’s direction. Actors and audiences share the space, and watching includes interaction and decision. The contemporary credits identify the responsibilities of Chen Yu, Hu Junyuan, Zhang Shaohua and other collaborators.
On the same day, He Fa published “Who Are the Centrists?”, using repetition, abrupt transitions and wordplay to create another narrative strand. His centrists wander, hesitate and wait to act; the closing passage returns the demand for a decision to the reader. Read beside the production introduction, the text shows how P4’s public writing participates in bringing a work into being: it communicates the schedule while establishing unsettled positions and emotions.
This entry includes He Fa’s directly associated writing and preserves the production’s original credits. The poster, character dialogue and article together provide an entry into how the work was proposed within P4U’s framework of a single public performance.
He Fa’s confirmed role is the author of a signed article. Direction, writing and production follow the contemporary credits. The English title is a working translation for this archive.

Rules and choices
A Centrist’s Self-Rescue Guide After the Failure of LoveHow to Eat a Banana?
The banana workshop’s “how” invites a shared experience; the Centrist performance introduction places audience choices within the plot. One leaves the exercise method unspecified, while the other situates choice within a dramatic scenario.
The original call of 24 March 2021 invites people to experience how to eat a banana together; it supplies neither complete exercises nor post-event results.
The project text and He Fa’s Who Is a Centrist? of 23 April 2021 ground audience choices, character speech and repetitive language; production credits remain distinct.

A Centrist’s Self-Rescue Guide After the Failure of LoveFafalish
He Fa’s Who Are the Centrists? uses repetition and wordplay to unsettle a position; Fafalish changes sentences through transcription and translation. Both intervene in meaning, but writing and conversion do not constitute the same mechanism of error.

The CCA exhibition statement supplies six transformations: Chinese poetry, literal English translation, accented reading, pinyin transcription, Chinese rewriting and machine translation into English.
