Selected works2011 / Photography, light box
Six bodily gestures appear suspended against a white field.

The portfolio presents Illusion as six vertical photographs, arranged in pairs across three pages. A continuous white background leaves no visible ground, support or clear spatial boundary. Hair, arms and bent legs indicate different directions of movement; changes in posture distinguish one photograph from the next.
Placed beside one another, the photographs allow one arrested gesture to be compared with another. They offer moments of movement, but the portfolio does not number them as successive steps. The title page dates the light-box work to September–October 2011 and records dimensions of 400 × 520 mm. All six photographs are presented here as separate images.
Based on pages 2–5 of the 38-page portfolio 何发-作品小汇. Title, date, dimensions and medium follow the original title page. Images were extracted independently from the PDF and retain their full compositions. The English title is a translation or transliteration for this website, not a verified historical English title.

Body and presence
Illusion removes a clearly defined ground and support against white; Cocoon’s records retain rehearsal, falls and fatigue. Bodies become visible in both, while their conditions of production appear in contrasting ways.
The body in the first portfolio image is set against white, with no support visible; the photographs are not labelled as successive stages of motion.
He Fa’s text of 29 October 2020 and the November conversations preserve production records of recruitment, continuous rehearsals and bodily strain.

Spaces transformed
Illusion separates poses from a setting through a white background; Iceberg places performers and spectators in a small office. Spatial cues recede in one, while obstruction and proximity become unavoidable conditions in the other.
The body in the first portfolio image is set against white, with no support visible; the photographs are not labelled as successive stages of motion.
The event record specifies 1 January 2022, an office, eight makers and fifteen audience members, including crowding and obstruction as conditions of viewing.

Body and presence
Touch touching retains a medium specification of projection-suitable surfaces; Illusion presents bodies against white in light boxes. Both make images visible through light, but their titles establish neither touch interaction nor a continuous movement sequence.
The portfolio records any projectable material and venue-dependent dimensions; the title alone does not establish touch interaction.
The body in the first portfolio image is set against white, with no support visible; the photographs are not labelled as successive stages of motion.
